Jason Ritter Is Returning To NBC's 'Parenthood'

Good news: Jason Ritter is returning to NBC's Parenthood!

As fans know, Ritter played Mark Cyr, the former boyfriend of Sarah Braverman, played by Lauren Graham. After their relationship ended (and kind of during it too), Sarah dated local photographer Hank (Ray Romano). It was bad enough that Sarah and Mark broke up, but watching her with Hank was like watching someone stomp on our already broken hearts.

Simply put, Romano's a good actor, but his character Hank is just grating. (I'm not really sure why he's even still on the show.) Either way, the fact that Ritter is returning is REALLY good news for Sark (Marah?) fans.

Ritter's currently only set to return to Parenthood for one episode, but now that he's got some free time, the fingers and toes are crossed that he'll be back for more.

"Why so much free time?" you ask. Oh yes, that may just be my favorite part about all of this. Ritter was starring on the Fox show Us & Them with Alexis Bledel, but the series order got cut after just six episodes (essentially rendering it cancelled). And as someone who loves TV incest (no, not in that way), the fact that Ritter is bouncing between the actual Gilmore girls is just, well, delicious.
